Why Did Romania's Jehovah's Witnesses Disfellowship The Governing Body For Apostasy?

there is a large group of jehovah's witnesses that broke away from the watchtower society in the 1990s.

can someone explain to all the interested jwn lurkers and faders, why these romanian and other eastern european witnesses disfellowshiped the governing body in new york?.

i received a email from a member claiming to be part of this group, i was told they "disfellowshiped the governing body" for disobedience to jehovah god and not following the fine examples of brother russell, rutherford and knorr.

Scans of WT vs. bound volume: Paul saying work finished "by end of 20th century" changed to "in our time"

hello, looking for the actual scans.... i have looked through the search function here on jwn but can't find the actual scans of the magazine that states something like: "paul said that this preaching work will be finished by the end of the 20th century" and then scans of the bound volume of that same issue where the wording is changed to something like: "paul said that the preaching work will be finished in our day".

there are the direct quotes available in the jwn search but i'd really like to have the actual scans of the pages.. does anyone have the pdfs that they could post?.

my jw mom was ripping on the mormons for changing their doctrine in printed word the other day... so this would be interesting to have on hand if she brings stuff like that up again.. thanks!.

up till very recently, my two sons (one a jw and one, a non-jw) lived in the same community.

the never-baptized son decided to move to a different u.s. state and within a few miles of my home i'm a df'd person as of 33 years ago.

i know jehovah's witnesses can have firearms for defense, but does the church ever attempt to set guidelines on the use of deadly force?

also, are there jurisdictions in the church where handgun ownership is frowned upon?.

JWs in Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Wis, have no problem hunting with rifles, I had a group of guys who would go Elk hunting in Colorado each year, not a big deal! Self-defense guns are not allowed, this is one of those gray areas your conscience is suppose to help with!

sexual harrassment suits were running wild in american businesses throughout the 1990s, the end result was "sensitivity training" and forcing mangers to sign contracts that revealed "we understand sexual harrassment is bad!

if i touch a girl, i get sued and the company is free!".

elder's are now trained to handle every situation that can possibly come up, if a lawsuit emerges, the elders are sued and the watchtower, at their discretion can defend their elders if they feel it is to their best interest.

The money could be spent to purchase "Presidential Suites", hard earned vacations, but absolutely not, should it be squandered on missionaries in Third World Countries, let them eat "Rice, Cassava and Slime Fish" like "Andre the Missionary"!

If Jesus Christ came back to Earth, don't you think he would want a Cadilliac like Brother Rutherford, travel in planes like Knorr, spend his time alone, thinking of Bible explanations like Frantz?

I had to give up down hill snow boarding, surfing, speedway motorcyle racings, "no brakes, no brains!" , fishings was taking too much time away from service (Guilt set in hard), I am only left with the only acceptable sport, MMA.
